This week The Lillies of the Valley take center stage. Oh they are ever so fragrant !
and to think all these sweet lillies came from about 3-4 little plants, I planted about 25 years ago. They will take over the garden, so they must be thinned!

Don't you just love Lilacs?
This week I looked around my yard and couldn't believe the beauty of the Lilacs this year. There has been a steady amount of rainfall this spring , more than usual, and the Lilacs are loving it! Since moving to the Northwest over 30 years ago, I have become aware of so many different flowers that I didn't pay attention to in California. There were always flowers blooming in SoCal. We definitely have a blooming season here in the Northwest. When something burst out in color, it has my attention. So, with spring in full swing, let the flowers burst forth!
Can't you just smell them?

A treasure from my latest hunt
You can see how shiny the bowl became after a little cleaning with Wrights silver cleaner. Reflects like a mirror!
Well here goes. This is just my second posting on this blog. My friend Priscilla got me started here last week. My latest treasure is a beautiful footed silver bowl. I spied it on the bottom shelf all tarnished. It just took a few minutes of cleaning with Wrights silver cream and it was shining.Thank you for dropping in on my blog today and feel free to leave a comment.
